eLearning Account Activation
Before your account can be activated, you
must agree to the following eLearning Account Policy. Please read and agree to this
policy by filling in the details at the bottom of this screen and clicking on
the “I AGREE” button.
eLearning Account Policy
The College provides TEE, WAUFP, Flying Start and ECAAS students with an
account to access electronic educational services in the College. This is
called an eLearning account. It is your responsibility to ensure that you use
your eLearning account responsibly at all times.
Short Course students not enrolled in the TEE, WAUFP, Flying Start and ECAAS programs will access electronic education services using the generic subject account provided in their class.
Using Your eLearning Account
You must:
1. Only log on using your own eLearning account.
2. Only use your eLearning account to log on to one computer at a time.
2. Always log out of your eLearning account when you finish using the computer,
or if you temporarily leave the computer. This ensures that other people can't
make use of your account.
You must not:
1. Divulge your eLearning user name or password to others.
2. Allow other students, or non-students, to use your eLearning account to
access College educational services.
eLearning Storage Space
Your eLearning storage space is
provided for you to store the files you use while studying at
1. Only store files related to your educational program of study at
2. Keep your own backup of important files.
3. Make your own copy of any files you wish to keep before you finish your
course of study or withdraw from the College. All files in your eLearning
storage area will be deleted immediately you cease to be enrolled at the
College. At the end of the year all student files will be deleted.
Internet Access
Internet access is provided free to student on campus to allow access to
web-based resources. It is your responsibility to ensure you use the Internet
in a responsible manner that is consistent with the academic expectations of
the College and the individual guidelines provided by your lecturers and the
Library staff.

Quotas
Individual student downloads are subject to
a fixed quota for the term. If this quota is exceeded then Internet download
speed will be reduced until the quota is restored at the start of the following

Use of the Internet within the College is monitored.
Information and Software
Your specific responsibilities when accessing and using electronic information
and software at
1. You must meet the legal requirements of any information you have copied. If
in doubt you should refer to copyright laws.
2. You must acknowledge the author and resource of any material retrieved from
the Internet.
3. You must not download or access data, including text, images, audio, or
video which is not directly related to the educational programs at
4. You must not download, store or install software of any kind on College
computers without specific permission from College staff. Any requirement for
software related to your course of study should be relayed to your lecturer for
evaluation. Commercial or shareware copyright must be complied with at all
times.
5. At all times you must use the software applications available at the College
responsibly.
6. You must not play games of any sort on the College network unless the game
is within guidelines provided to you by College staff.
7. You must not pretend to be any other person when communicating on the
Internet and you must use suitable language in communications at all times.
8. You must not divulge personal details of any kind that could put anyone,
including yourself, at risk.
9. You must not transmit or knowingly receive or store information of the
following types.
(a) Threatening, pornographic or obscene material or any item that might cause
offence to the College community.
(b) Material concerning commercial activities by for-profit organisation,
product promotion or political lobbying.
(c) Material relating to illegal activities or promotion of illegal activities.
Inappropriate Use of eLearning Facilities
Your eLearning account is provided to you on the
condition you use it responsibly and according to College rules. Inappropriate
use of your account could result in the account being disabled, or your loss of
good standing at the College. You are the person who takes full responsibility
for the operation of your eLearning account.
